Training Seminar “Contemporary Issues in Bioethics” 4th Cycle – FEBRUARY – MAY 2021
The National Bioethics Committee and the Laboratory for the Study of Medical Law and Bioethics of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki offer for the fourth consecutive year an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the subject of modern bioethics.
They are co-organising a training programme of seminars for the year 2021, which will cover a wide range of important topics, such as patient autonomy, public health, euthanasia, abortion, new applications in genetics, eugenics, artificial intelligence, etc.
The programme is addressed to undergraduate and postgraduate students of all Faculties of Science and Theoretical Sciences, but also to professional lawyers, judges, doctors, teachers, etc.
It includes 12 presentations that will take place from February to May 2021, remotely and online. The meetings are two-hour sessions on Thursday from 17.00-19.00 on 4/2, 11/2, 18/2, 25/2, 4/3, 11/3, 18/3, 25/3, 1/4, 8/4, 15/4, 22/4, and on 13/5/2021 there will be a presentation of papers.
Upon completion of the Program, certificates of attendance will be issued to those who have attended at least ten (10) of the twelve (12) seminars.
English language skills are essential for attendance, as there will be speakers from abroad.

The participation fee is 100 euros.
