It is with great joy and satisfaction that the Laboratory announces the publication of the peer-reviewed journal
“BIO – JURIA” on Bioethics and Medical Law.
In General
The “BIO – JURIA” Journal is an e-journal of the Laboratory of Medical Law and Bioethics of the AUTh School of Law. The journal publishes articles, papers and reviews on contemporary developments in the fields of law, medicine, technology and bioethics. You can find the members of the scientific and editorial committee here.
The journal accepts scientific papers by faculty members, postgraduate students, doctoral candidates and PhD holders. The Journal publishes papers that have not been published (nor are to be published) in other journals. The journal is published exclusively online and is semi-annual.

Purpose
The purpose of the Journal is to inform and exchange views and knowledge among the scientists in the aforementioned fields who hold a particular theoretical or practical interest in issues related to law and bioethics.
More precisely, the Journal can host in Greek or in the main European languages (English, French and German):
i. Articles
Short articles, critical of topical and controversial issues. Articles are written by scientists having a personal opinion on the subject, at the invitation of the Editorial Board.
ii. Original Papers
Original papers, dealing with issues freely selected by the authors.
iii. Reviews
Synthesis and bibliographical review of issues related to law and bioethics. Reviews are written at the invitation of the Editorial Board or at the initiative of the authors themselves.
